CDM Federal Programs Corporation (CDM Federal), a wholly owned subsidary of Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (CDM), is a full service environmental consulting, engineering, construction, and operations firm serving the agencies and departments of the federal government. As the federal contracting entity for the entire CDM organization, we focus our expertise on the areas of remediation, waste management, pollution prevention, operations and maintenance, construction management, and environmental compliance.
CDM’s policy is to conduct our federal procurements in a fair and reasonable manner and to afford opportunities for participation by both large and small businesses, which include small disadvantaged and women-owned concerns, historically black colleges and universities/minority institutions, Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises, veteran-owned concerns, and qualified HUBZone businesses located in economically distressed rural and urban areas.
As a federal governmental contractor, CDM conducts procurements to comply with applicable contractual and FAR requirements, as well as within corporate guidelines established by the CDM Federal Board of Directors. CDM's procurement system is operated under federal government cognizance and is subject to review as part of the Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) procedures. Our CPSR approval by the government since 1987 demonstrates CDM’s commitment and good faith efforts to comply with government procurement requirements.
CDM undertakes various outreach efforts to provide reasonable opportunity to all qualified small businesses to compete for procurements. Those efforts include attendance at various trade fairs, contacts with various business development organizations, access to the Small Business Administration's Pro-Net Internet site, reference to various small business directories, access to Internet lists of small businesses, advertising through local trade journals and CBD notices, and maintenance of in-house database of small business sources. In addition, CDM makes extensive efforts to comply in good faith with contractually negotiated small business subcontracting goals.
