For decades, CDM interdisciplinary teams have collaborated with our clients to consider value-driven approaches. This leadership in technical excellence is accomplished through the integration of sustainability across all of our services and throughout project planning, design, and delivery; enhancement of our technical services; and intra-discipline and cross-discipline collaboration. The result is a responsive and responsible project delivery strategy that incorporates long-term economic value; delivers quality and performance; and demonstrates the best environmental stewardship by preserving the natural balance of land, water, and air.
CDM's certified energy managers (CEM) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) accredited professionals (AP) broaden the definition of sustainable performance by identifying other project-specific opportunities and challenges. We also employ nearly 20 individuals who have attained the Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) credential and 261 board certified environmental engineers (BCEE)—more than double the number in any other firm in our industry. These highly qualified professionals have earned internationally recognized certifications from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers and American Academy of Environmental Engineers, respectively. They join the thousands of talented engineers, scientists, planners, geologists, architects, and specialists at CDM who work in concert to deliver the best in sustainable solutions.
Our clients are also finding that sustainability concerns and issues run through all of their departments—planning, engineering, operations, procurement, accounting, and legal to name a few. And they are turning to us to help them address new sustainability performance improvement opportunities and better communicate their contributions to their stakeholders.
