CDM is an official Global sponsor of Engineers Without Borders-USA (EWB-USA), a non-profit humanitarian organization that partners with developing communities to help meet their needs for simple, yet effective clean water, sanitation, or other life-sustaining systems. CDM's EWB program contributes financial donations and volunteer outreach; strengthens employee engagement and retention; and provides excellent opportunities for building teamwork and project management skills.
cdm grant program
CDM provides grants for travel and other expenses to employees who participate in EWB-USA community service projects through a unique CDM grant program. CDM supports EWB-USA financially and CDM employees have helped communities in Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, South Africa, and Togo.
CHAPTER CONTRIBUTIONS
At college career fairs across the country, CDM is meeting with EWB chapter members and making donations to local chapters (or to on-campus sustainability organizations should a local EWB chapter not exist). In addition to the firm's corporate support, these donations demonstrate CDM's commitment to EWB at all levels, and create a link between the programs that students are currently involved in and projects they may pursue with CDM.
