Security

Security provisions have been a part of nearly every significant infrastructure facility project CDM has designed or managed. These provisions range from simple secured access (fencing, keyed, and electronic lock systems) and perimeter security (disturbance sensors, buried cable, motion detectors) to employee safety (intruder detection, status alarms, communications) and multi-site networked security systems.

We perform vulnerability assessments and security evaluations; design, install, and implement multi-site security systems; and develop recommendations for improved procedures, physical hardening, and emergency response. Our knowledge of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Security Planning Grant and federal laws allows our staff to conduct security workshops to train people in Sandia National Laboratory EPA-approved methodologies for vulnerability assessment.
