In an effort to eliminate combined sewer overflows in the Harvard Yard and Harvard Square area of Cambridge, Harvard University turned to CDM to study and design a sewer separation program. CDM utilized a geographic information system database to map all underground utilities and design possible alternatives for sanitary sewer and drainage construction.
