CDM designed and managed the construction of significant upgrades and expansion of a membrane-based (ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis) ultrapure water system for a submicron technology research and development laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This new system ensures that the ultrapure water complies with state-of-the-art research requirements for dissolved solids, organics, and particulates. The upgraded system produces water having a total organic carbon concentration of less than 2 parts per billion.
