CDM was instrumental in converting a prescriptive design effort into a fast-track design with performance-based criteria to remediate groundwater contaminated by wood treating operations. The site is situated above two aquifers that have carried the contaminants (copper, chromium, arsenic, and lead) 1,000 feet northeast of the former wood treatment facility. CDM identified a potential impact to site. In addition to design, CDM has provided resident engineering services for construction and operation of groundwater treatment systems.
