CDM evaluated processes to treat high-strength wastes from the manufacture of medical and dental disinfectants and sterilants. As a result, the client implemented waste minimization strategies and a peroxide oxidation process with pH adjustment to reduce chemical oxygen demand and toxicity in the waste stream, allowing discharge to a local sewer system while maintaining their production capacity.
