As part of a pilot project, funded by the South Florida Water Management District, CDM is constructing stormwater treatment facilities for phosphorus reduction at a Florida dairy in order to reduce phosphorus loads to the Everglades system. CDM is designing and constructing a stormwater impoundment area, diversion ditches to direct stormwater to the impoundment, an alum injection system, and a sedimentation pond for flocculent capture prior to offsite stormwater discharge.
