Chemical Storage and Handling Improvements

To meet current environmental standards, CDM completed design-build upgrades to this manufacturer's chemical storage and handling facilities. The project involved demolition and removal of existing structures and supports; concrete work for the containment area foundations, drive areas, and secondary containment dike; installation of a canopy over the containment dike and offloading area; installation of a support for a new water cooling tower; mechanical design and construction for 1,000 square feet of piping runs; and rigging of an existing 10,000-gallon tank and placement in the new dike. CDM worked diligently to complete the project without interruption to normal plant operations.
