Michael E. Miller, Ph.D.
Michael Miller helped author the 2009 white paper "Integrating Sustainable Principles, Practices, and Metrics into Remediation Projects." The piece was featured in the Summer 2009 issue of Remediation , a publication of the U.S. Sustainable Remediation Forum (SURF). Specifically, he co-authored Section 5, "A Vision for Sustainability."
SURF promotes the use of sustainable practices during implementation of remedial action activities with the objective of balancing economic viability, conservation of natural resources and biodiversity, and the enhancement of the quality of life in surrounding communities.
