During the summer of 2006, five students and two teachers experienced a wide spectrum of employment opportunities at CDM's Cambridge office, including computer-assisted design, global information system preparation, hazardous waste assessment, and data collection. This experience was made possible through CDM's partnership with Leadership Initiatives for Teaching and Technology (LIFT²), a public-private partnership dedicated to increasing the number of Massachusetts students interested in science, technology, engineering, and math.
The LIFT² program is featured in the September 2006 issue of MainStream , an AWWA publication.
