Building on global qualifications in environmental and public infrastructure projects, CDM provides a growing portfolio of services to help meet the need for improved transportation infrastructure. CDM's services for transportation have spanned aviation, mass transit, surface transportation, and maritime projects.
Since 1998, CDM has served the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) under indefinite delivery contracts with the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center for environmental architect-engineer services. CDM's assignments through the Volpe Center contracts have included a major hazardous waste emergency response at asbestos-contaminated sites in eight states, site investigation of a Federal Aviation Administration facility, and research and development work for the Coast Guard. CDM remains available for DOT assignments under our Volpe Center contract.
