Since our founding in 1947, CDM has provided a full range of consulting, engineering, construction, and operations services to agencies and departments of the U.S. government. CDM's experience on government facilities and federal agency projects encompasses all 50 states, as well as U.S. military installations and U.S. foreign aid programs in more than 60 other countries. Our federal portfolio includes design-build delivery of infrastructure improvements at military bases and national parks; assistance in managing valuable water resources and restoring damaged ecosystems; investigations and cleanup of hazardous and radioactive waste sites; flood hazard identification and mapping; emergency response and recovery for natural disasters and terrorism; and support for closure and economic redevelopment of military bases.
In 1986, we formed CDM Federal Programs Corporation to better serve U.S. government clients. This wholly owned subsidiary of CDM has customized accounting, purchasing, contract, program and project management and quality management systems that comply fully with requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and are tailored to meet specific needs of individual federal agencies. CDM's services are available to the federal government under many contracting vehicles, including GSA schedules.
