CDM has a multi-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to provide architect and engineering services in water resources, including water resource management, water supply and production, sanitation and sewage, irrigation, drainage and flood control, and dam and reservoir construction and rehabilitation.
CDM's contract with MCC supports the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA), the multi-billion-dollar fund established by the U.S. government in 2002 as a "new compact for global development" that aims to reduce poverty through economic growth. The account links greater investment by the U.S. government to greater responsibility by developing nations through a criteria- and performance-based approach to funding. Since 2004, the account has been administered by the MCC.
With more than four decades of experience leading projects in over 100 countries for international development institutions, CDM is exceptionally well suited to support the objectives of the MCC. Our MCC IDIQ team has specialized expertise in program management, environmental engineering and environmental impact, finance and economics, policy development and implementation, institutional development and capacity building, and social science. Additional services include stakeholder engagement; design-build and conventional planning, design, and construction for environmental infrastructure projects; and local program implementation.
