How do I submit my resume?
Resumes must be submitted online. In support of CDM's sustainability practices, we do not accept paper resumes. At CDM we not only deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients, but we are more committed than ever to applying sustainability in our own operations.

Can I submit my resume to more than one position?
Absolutely! You can submit a resume for any number of positions for which you believe your education and experience match the specified requirements.

Can I send you my resume without applying for a specific position?
Yes. You can upload your resume into our database or create your resume through our online resume builder tool. You can also create a profile to apply more easily as new opportunities become available. Our recruiters frequently scan the database when new positions open, and will notify you if they feel you are a good match for a position. Also, by accessing our search agent within your account, you can create a customized search for open positions that meet your interests and qualifications, and you will be notified by e-mail when new positions open that match your criteria.

What happens after I submit my resume?
Once you submit your resume for a position, you will receive an automated acknowledgement response. If your qualifications match an available position, you will be contacted at the phone number or e-mail address you have provided in your profile. At that time, you will have the opportunity to discuss the position in more detail and ask any questions you may have.

Does CDM offer a summer/co-op internship program?
At CDM we look to employ the best professionals in the industry. Our Co-op and Internship Program is an important facet in achieving this goal. We hire students throughout the year who are in all stages of their education, including those pursuing bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.

CDM has 4,000 employees located in 100+ offices around the globe. You can view locations through the Contact Us Globally page, as well as the Search Openings page to see if there are position listings in areas that may interest you.

If I am an engineering student do I need my FE?
CDM does hire new graduates who have not taken and passed their FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam. However, new employees working in engineering disciplines are expected to complete the exam within 18 months of starting their employment at CDM. We encourage all candidates to consider taking the exam during their final year in school.

How will I know when CDM is coming to my campus?
We update our recruiting schedule on CDM's Web site before the start of the school year. There you will find the list of schools, dates, and events we will be attending in the fall and spring semesters.

Can I be involved in community service while working at CDM?
CDM employees are actively engaged in local civic and global organizations focusing on community improvement. CDM is a platinum sponsor of Engineers without Borders, offering financial donations and funding for CDM employees to participate in volunteer outreach. Each year, the entire CDM community is involved in raising funds for Water For People, an international humanitarian organization committed to improving global water quality, sanitation, and hygiene education.
