Benefits

CDM offers our student employees competitive compensation and benefits, including:

Earned Time - Co-op and intern employees are eligible for earned time (vacation time) after 6 months of service. Earned time is accrued at a rate of 10 days per year for the first 2 years of service. Employees are eligible for vacation after 6 months of employment.

Sick Leave - Co-op and intern employees are eligible for sick leave after 3 months of employment. Sick leave is accrued at the rate of 5 days per year from the date of employment. Unused sick leave is accumulated to a maximum of 66 days.

If you return to CDM for continued assignments as a co-op or intern, any sick leave you accrued during previous assignments will be carried over for your current employment with the firm.

Holidays - Co-op and intern employees are paid for those holidays that observed on the days they are scheduled to work.

Service Time - Your time as a student co-op or intern will count toward your overall service time with CDM if you join the firm as a full-time employee upon graduation.

Commuter Program - This plan offers a pre-tax benefit to various commuter options, including subway, train, light rail, bus or parking fees (if you drive to and from work).

Capital Accumulation Plan - CDM makes an annual profit-sharing and match contribution to eligible employees' CDM Capital Accumulation Plan (401(k)) accounts based on the firm's financial performance. Co-op and intern employees may contribute to the 401(k) as soon as administratively possible after their date of hire. CDM will partially match employee 401(k) contributions, as well as make profit-sharing contributions to eligible employees after 1 year of continuous employment.
