Healthy watersheds support urban water demands as well as agricultural, recreational, and ecosystem needs. However, water quality issues continue to pose challenges. With the development and implementation of the total maximum daily load program, CDM is working with more and more communities to address these issues. CDM teams with clients to develop proactive approaches to identify and assess sources of impairment, develop cost-effective measures to reduce the source and improve water quality in both wet and dry weather conditions, and implement long-term, sustainable water quality programs.
