Food and Beverage Process Water

Consistent water quality is critical in the food and beverage industry to ensure product consistency. While a good-quality source of potable water is always preferred for production, CDM recognizes that may not always be available. High levels of colloidal particulates, iron, manganese, and other contaminants may cause unwanted characteristics in the finished product, requiring oxidation and removal by sedimentation and filtration to deliver high-purity ingredient water and prevent unwanted variations in product characteristics and quality.

CDM has planned, designed, optimized, and installed numerous high-purity water systems using reverse osmosis, ozonation, and UV disinfection technologies to ensure high-quality process water. Additionally, these designs have incorporated ultrafiltration and ion exchange technologies to meet stringent regulatory standards and reduce purification costs.
