Industrial Facilities and Process Design

Drawing on our in-depth understanding of the unique factors that influence industrial facilities and process systems, CDM provides a broad range of services and innovative solutions to our industrial clients. Our full-service approach enables us to stay flexible, both in delivery method and technical approach, building solutions around each project's specific needs. Further, we serve as a single point of responsibility for all aspects of an industrial project-from planning and evaluation through detailed design, construction, startup, and operation. For manufacturing, process, and research and development facilities, and other industrial facilities, CDM creates designs that maximize available space, ensure efficient material and personnel flow, and address storage and handling needs.

CDM has delivered design solutions to the chemical, food and beverage, general manufacturing, and metals and mining operation industries. All of CDM's facility engineering designs assist clients in improving production efficiency and utility infrastructure while minimizing and treating facility and process wastes. Core process design activities include process audits, technical assessments of plant technologies, and plant-specific engineering. CDM's professionals work with clients to investigate alternative technologies, modify the process design, or improve current equipment. We understand that any such changes must be carefully evaluated for both short- and long-term costs and benefits and for possible effects on product quality and production capacity.
