Underground Systems

When it comes to campus or facility underground systems, site managers want the same things: long-term reliability, minimal maintenance, and regulatory compliance. But maintaining underground systems can be challenging, especially when dealing with older pipelines and other infrastructure. CDM’s hydrogeologists, geotechnical experts, civil and structural engineers, and constructors can help by implementing state-of-the-art leak detection and elimination programs; monitoring, removing, and replacing underground storage tanks; performing site assessment and remediation to address soil or groundwater contamination; implementing innovative trenchless technologies for underground construction/repairs; applying the latest tunneling design and construction methods for utility distribution tunnels; and evaluating the economic feasibility of various maintenance and rehabilitation approaches. In any of these services, CDM can provide start-to-finish services, from planning and design to complete construction.
