Since the mid 1980s, CDM has played a key role in restoring brownfield properties for commercial, industrial, residential, and recreational reuse, transforming these contaminated, underused, or abandoned sites into assets. Some of this work has been directly for industrial and commercial clients. In other instances, CDM has worked with communities and planning agencies to select and prioritize brownfield sites and identify mechanisms and incentives for redevelopment. CDM has also been active in pursuing and obtaining government and private funding for redevelopment.
CDM has a wide range of in-house expertise and the depth of resources to address the multitude of issues associated with brownfields redevelopment, performing services that include risk assessments, remediation/construction, planning, permitting, and economic assessments.
