Organization

Established in 1947, CDM began as a professional partnership of Thomas R. Camp, Herman G. Dresser, and Jack E. McKee and converted to a corporation in 1970. CDM is employee owned and governed by a Board of Directors.

Our executive leadership team includes:

  • Thomas D. Furman Jr. - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
  • Richard D. Fox  - President
  • Paul G. Camell - Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
  • William S. Howard - Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer
  • John L. Roberts - Executive Vice President

Closely aligned with our clients, CDM provides services through the following four major business units:

  • Federal Services Group
  • Industrial Services Group
  • International Services Group
  • Public Services Group

These units are supported by the Consulting & Engineering Divisions and the Construction Division—all working together to deliver integrated consulting, engineering, construction, and operations services worldwide.

In addition to the parent company (Camp Dresser & McKee Inc.), CDM owns three subsidiaries (CDM Constructors Inc., CDM Federal Programs Corporation, and CDM International Inc.). CDM also has a majority interest in CDM Consult Holding AG, one of the leading companies for environmental and geotechnical consulting and design in Germany.
