Timothy B. Wall Named Federal Services Group President

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS—CDM is pleased to announce that Timothy B. Wall has been named president of the firm's Federal Services Group.
Mr. Wall has demonstrated excellence in leadership and performance in his role as the Federal Service Group's sector manager for Homeland Security and Transportation. Under his strategic direction, CDM's work in that sector has expanded to include new clients, such as the Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Transportation Volpe Center, Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Space and Aeronautics Administration, and Transportation Research Board.
Mr. Wall has 18 years of professional experience in the management of hazardous waste remediation assessment, design, and construction projects, as well as rapid-response disaster assistance programs. He joined CDM in 1991, working in the industrial sector and quickly advanced to managing large projects for Alcoa and General Motors. In 1999, he transferred to Federal to lead a 5-year, $48 million contract with the Department of Transportation Volpe Center.
Mr. Wall now the program manager for the $68 million follow-on contract with the Volpe Center, which includes the award-winning asbestos emergency response remediation project in Libby, Montana. Mr. Wall has been the program manager for multiple, multi-million dollar programs with FEMA, including public and technical assistance projects for disaster recovery and flood map modernization projects in four regions. He currently serves on the joint-venture board for the follow-on FEMA nationwide risk mapping contract.
Mr. Wall earned an M.S. in environmental engineering from Tufts University, an M.B.A. from Boston College, and a B.S. in civil engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
