CDM Announces the Promotion of American Water Works Association Members

CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS—CDM is pleased to announce the promotions of the following American Water Works Association members:

Douglas R. Brown, P.E., has been promoted to vice president. Brown, based in CDM’s Denver office, is an environmental engineer with more than 25 years of experience designing treatment plants and related infrastructures. He has worked with large microfiltration systems, conventional coagulation and filtration, reverse osmosis, activated carbon filters, and advance oxidation.

Daniel M. Gerrity, P.E. , has been promoted to senior vice president. For more than 15 years, he has been responsible for engineering, business development, and financial aspects of the firm’s business strategy at the local, state, and federal levels. Based out of CDM’s New Orleans office, he currently manages clients in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas.

Curtis A. Kiefer, P.E., BCEE , has been promoted to vice president. Based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office, Kiefer is one of CDM’s lead membrane treatment and desalination specialists and provides expertise for many of the company’s projects in these areas. He has more than 31 years of experience in water treatment; membrane treatment, including reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration; and seawater desalination, including reverse osmosis, multistage flash, multiple effect distillation, mechanical vapor compression, and related experience.

Bernard F. Maloy, P.E., BCEE , has been promoted to vice president. Maloy, based in CDM’s Louisville, Kentucky office, has more than 30 years of environmental engineering experience. His expertise includes wastewater collection and treatment, stormwater modeling and drainage system design, water treatment and distribution, and environmental management programs.  

Jeffrey A. Mills, P.E., BCEE , has been promoted to vice president. A senior program manager with more than 34 years of experience, he has also been named assistant chief engineer to CDM’s Public Services Group. His experience focuses primarily on the management, design, and construction of water and wastewater systems and environmental engineering projects. Mills is based in the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia office.

Eliu O. Perez has been promoted to senior vice president. Perez is based in CDM’s Miami office and has 23 years of experience developing environmental infrastructure projects. As the manager for South Florida and the Caribbean area, Perez’s purview includes water, wastewater, and solid waste programs for public and private sector clients. He leads five offices in south Florida and two offices in Puerto Rico.

John M. Price, P.E. , has been promoted to senior vice president. Located in CDM’s Carlsbad, California office, Price serves as program manager for the $260 million U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton (California) design-build-operate-maintain program, as well as officer-in-charge of the firm’s federal design-build program. He has more than 37 years of experience in engineering and construction support for surface and groundwater systems and treatment facilities, and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.

Dan Rodrigo has been promoted to vice president. With expertise in water resources management and financial analysis, Rodrigo is the firm’s technology leader in decision science and strategic market leader for water resources in the western United States.   He is based in CDM’s Los Angeles office.  

James L. Taylor, P.E. , has been promoted to vice president. Taylor is based in CDM’s Cambridge office. He has more than 30 years of experience in operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities, sludge treatment plants, remediation facilities, pumping stations, and collection systems.
