Allan Bedwell Joins CDM's Industrial Services Group

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA—CDM is pleased to announce that Allan Bedwell has joined the Industrial Services Group as a principal environmental strategist. Based in the firm's Irvine office, Bedwell will assist CDM's corporate clients nationwide in air pollution control, greenhouse gas emissions management, and energy management. With extensive experience in business and government, Bedwell has served as a top environmental regulator and executive in the air pollution control and energy industries.
Bedwell has 18 years of experience, successfully managing large projects and organizations, troubleshooting complex issues, and directing business strategy. A nationally recognized leader with expertise in technology, manufacturing, energy, and regulation, Bedwell most recently served as deputy secretary for Regulatory Programs and Energy in the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, directing statewide regulation of air quality, water quality, waste management, land development, and energy policy.
Previously, Bedwell served as executive vice president for EmeraChem, a manufacturer of air pollution control equipment for power generators, manufacturers, and commercial vehicles. He also has extensive experience in the electric and gas utility industry, particularly in greenhouse gas emissions management, air pollution control, and regulatory strategy.
Bedwell holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in natural resources planning and interpretation from Humboldt State University. He has also served on the staff of the Council on Environmental Quality within the Executive Office of the President of the United States.
