CDM Fellowship Awarded at University of Florida

GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA—CDM Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Thomas D. Furman, Jr., presented Matthew Rembold with the CDM Fellowship at the University of Florida on January 24, 2006. Established by CDM in 1993, the fellowship is awarded annually to a graduate student in Environmental Engineering Sciences at the University of Florida.
As part of his graduate program at the University of Florida, Rembold is a research assistant, working on projects related to effluent ocean disposal and water reuse. He earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
In addressing those attending the fellowship reception, Furman noted, "The University of Florida has always been an important source for recruiting top talent. Today, 73 of our employees are UF graduates, many of them in leadership positions.
