CDM at the AAAE 2008 National Aviation Environmental Management Conference

The American Association of Airport Executives is once again hosting the National Aviation Environmental Management Conference, June 22-24, 2008. This 17th annual meeting of aviation professionals will continue a tradition of education, networking, and problem solving. Hot topics for this year include sustainability, airport deicing operations, and the latest in environmental regulations for aviation. Attendees include a diverse group of airport executives, airline representatives, consultants, and service providers.
CDM is facilitating the following:
Sunday, June 22, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
This roundtable workshop will engage airport stakeholders in a discussion of the CDM-created Sustainablity Performance Improvement Management System (SPIMS) model, as well as the benefits and challenges of sustainability best management practices.
Tuesday, June 24, 2:45-4:45 p.m.
The sustainability discussion continues at this session where industry experts will talk about the current state of sustainablity in the aviation industry, EMS, green procurement, regulatory issue, such as ISO 26000, Architecture 2030, and more.
